About the Emeritus Club
The Emeritus Club was formed in 2017 to recognize those individuals upon “whose shoulders we now stand.” A permanent “Emeritus Club” wall is on display at the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.
These individuals contributions to South Oklahoma City have qualified them to join this exclusive group of leaders who have made an outstanding impact on South Oklahoma City through their time, talents, and resources.
Do you know someone you would like to nominate for the Emeritus Club? Qualifying nominees shall be anyone who has served in the capacity of a president, chair or founder of a charitable or nonprofit organization/event that serves South Oklahoma City, or an elected/appointed public official who has represented at least a portion of South Oklahoma City. Significant philanthropists who have contributed to programs or projects that benefit South Oklahoma City may also be considered for membership.
